($42) Bright ruby-red. Deeply pitched aromas of blackberry, licorice, dry spices and eucalyptus. Juicy and tightly wound, with strong, primary flavors of black fruits and licorice. Not as pliant as the Brookman cabernet but brisk and gripping. Finishes with firm, ripe tannins.
