About Domaine Dirler-Cade
This family-owned domain, with 45 aces in the warmer southern end of Alsace, has been farming biodynamically since 1998, and they've been certified since 2007. They are best known for dry, classically structured, mineral-rich wines. Dirler's slow-developing wines are typically suggestive of citrus and orchard fruits but also display stronger soil tones than most in the region. There's barrel fermentation for the Riesling and Pinot Gris, and tank fermentation for the other white wines.

Musky aromas of candied pineapple and ginger. Fat, sweet, deep and pure; chewy and structured but with no rough edges. Very concentrated, mouthfilling gewurztraminer, finishing with a minerality that keeps it fresh and firm.
