Nose slightly reticent, with cherry/blueberry and a touch of licorice and herbs. In the mouth this demonstrates a palpable minerality that not only is detectable on the finish but is very central at the core of the mid-palate. The fruit here was slightly more meager here than what would be ideal. Interesting balsamic and black chocolate bolster the slightly weak black cherry.
