90 Points | Stephen Tanzer's IWC - March/April 2006

($23) Deep red color. Smoky, peppery black fruits and bitter chocolate on the nose, along with a hint of roasted coffee. A supple and rather elegant midweight, with spicy bitter cherry, cassis and mocha flavors nicely framed by soft tannins. Very suave wine, finishing with plum and licorice notes and noteworthy persistence. (Pasternak Wine Imports, Harrison, NY)
