Christened by Mrs. Albert Spotts in 1910, Spottswoode is now managed by Mary Novak and her two children, Beth and Lindy. Over the past two decades, Spottswoode has been one of the most consistent Cabernet producers of California, with a track record for graceful bottle aging.

Limited production bottling with elegance and substance.

by Walter A. Kotrba, CWE
Concentrated and smooth black cherry fruit, outstandingly beautiful quality and resonance, shot through with minty overtones, finely structured with good acid and fine tannin, no rough edges, seductive textures, cinnamon and toasty nuances at the mid-palate, and luscious red fruit in the finish. Even for a Francophile, this is as good as red wine can get! A+! NVVA AUCTION, 2/03
