Bright ruby. Aromas of dark berries, coffee and chocolatey oak. Intense but rather clenched, with the dark berry and espresso flavors currently showing an oaky side. Finishes with substantial wood-powered tannins that turned a bit dry with aeration. In an awkward phase today.
