89 Points | Stephen Tanzer's IWC - May/June 2003

($75; 55% merlot and 45% cabernet sauvignon) Good bright medium ruby. Aromas of redcurrant syrup, tobacco, minerals and smoked nuts. Full and harmonious in the mouth, with moderate definition and distinctly warm flavors. Finishes with dusty, slightly edgy tannins that grew with aeration.
