($60; 60% garnacha, with syrah, cariñena, merlot and cabernet sauvignon) Red-ruby. Very ripe but fresh aromas of black cherry, licorice and flowers. Dense, sweet and lush but also suave and penetrating, with black fruit, violet and lead pencil flavors nicely framed by firm acidity. This really mounts on the back end and lingers. The tannins are quite fine. As in most years, a Priorat wine of atypical finesse.
