($45) Ruby-red. Spicy, mineral-tinged aromas of cherry, plum, cured tobacco and espresso. Powerful, full and firmly structured, showing good sweetness and heft; the ripe cherry flavor verges on liqueur-like yet remains reined in and focused. Stony, deep and long on the finish, with a lingering note of dark chocolate. (Europvin USA, Oakland, CA)
