Bright red-ruby. Baked blackberry, licorice and ground cinnamon on the nose. Fat, silky and sweet, with exotic flavors of roasted blackberry and brown spices. Builds nicely on the lingering, firmly tannic back end. A rich, serious red wine for the price, but I'd want to drink it before the fruit fades.

First of all; it's a red table wine. Second of all, it tastes great! Castano will never hold up against a Whithall Cab, or a Martinelli Zin, but it shouldn't have to. All around great value for everyone.
