($170) Good deep red. Superripe, highly aromatic nose of cherry, licorice and minerals. Intensely flavored, vibrant and quite stylish; this has excellent verve for young Clos Vougeot. Nicely delineated flavors of dark fruits, flowers and licorice. Finishes very long and subtle, with fine tannins for this vineyard. The estate has two chunks of vines in Clos Vougeot, comprising 1.5 hectares.
