90 Points | Stephen Tanzer's IWC - November/December 2005

($67; a blend of zweigelt, blaufrankisch and cabernet) Dark ruby-garnet with an orange rim. Dark berries, cedar, graphite and some animal nuances on the nose. Firm and streamlined in the mouth, with refreshing red berry flavors lingering nicely on the finish. Offers a distinctly satin-like texture thanks to its elegant tannic structure. Drink 2006 to 2014.
