Restrained but sweet aromas of blueberry, cassis and tree bark; darker in character and less red-fruity than the Coda and Klipsun bottlings. Then sharply focused and gripping in the mouth, with the sappy, creamy berry aspect that characterizes all of these 2002s. Pungent notes of mint, spice and minerals contribute to the impression of vibrancy. Finishes very broad and ripe, with tannins buried in fruit.
