Bright ruby. Vibrant, pure aromas of blackberry, violet and licorice. Fat, juicy and sweet, with nicely delineated black fruit flavors lifted by violet. Light on its feet, and better balanced than the 2001.

Turley! The big guns. Particularly good is the Turley Zin Moore Earthquake -94 and the Turley Petite Sirah Aida- 96 and -95. Complex with a nose full of fruit, inky-chewy texture with a fresh soil and dark fruity taste.
