(60% chardonnay and 40% pinot noir; LC1063205XEL227):  Bright yellow.  Musky orchard and pit fruits on the nose and palate, with subtle toasted grain and chamomile notes in the background.  Fleshy and a bit loose-knit but shows good depth and finishing cling.  Serve this Champagne with chicken in a rich, mushroom-based sauce, or maybe a mushroomy risotto.
