($12; 90% viura and 10% malvasia; fermented in barriques Pale color. Apple and spicy oak on the nose. Round, rich and tactile but quite fresh, with palate-dusting flavors of lemon, apple and spices. Lingering finish throws off citrus and spice notes. This has the fruit intensity to support the barrel treatment. Excellent, very inexpensive white Rio ja.
