About Domaine de Chevalier
Domaine de Chevalier was relatively late to arrive on the Bordeaux wine scene. In 1865, when Arnaud and Jean Ricard acquired this small property on the outskirts of the Lande pine forest, it was in disrepair. Today, the vineyard has more than doubled in size from its original 20 acres.

(tasted from cuve after the fining) Pale silver-straw color. Aromas of exotic fruits, lemon, lichee, gingerbread and vanillin, resiny oak. Supple, round and full in the mouth, with the gingerbread character repeating. More powerful than the 2004 but less complex and aromatic. But this has plenty of fat and fruit.
