90 Points | International Wine Cellar , January/February 2005

($55; bottled in June; 14. 2% alcohol) Complex, leesy, exotic aromas of hazelnut, roasted grain, smoked meat and honey. Fat, thick and sweet, with an explosion of fresh and dried apricot and pineapple. Finishes with a flavor of apricot nectar. This shows compelling sweetness but the residual sugar is actually a very low 1. 2 grams per liter. The crop level here was down 60% from a normal year, according to Philippe.
