88-90 Points | International Wine Cellar , May/June 2004

Medium ruby-red. Superripe, high-toned aromas of framboise and spices. Rich, pliant and liqueur-like in the mouth, with flavors of maraschino cherry and game. Not particularly exuberant today but there's no shortage of verve here. Slightly sauvage but nicely concentrated. Finishes with fine, dusty tannins. Low in acidity but stuffed with fruit.
