About Paloma Vineyard
Jim and Barbara Richards began crafting superb Napa Valley Merlot in 1983. Although Jim has since passed, the Richards still have a rabid following among those who prize sweetness of fruit, creamy texture and plenty of spicy oak. Sheldon, Jim’s son, now works alongside his mom in the vines and in the cellar, carrying on the work, and good reputation of his dad’s vineyard.

($51) Bright red-ruby. Complex nose combines plum, cherry, raspberry, chocolate, flowers and loam. Supple and juicy in the mouth, with rather cool flavors of cherry, chocolate and herbs. Offers moderate flesh and depth. Finishes with dusty, slightly dry tannins and hints of licorice and menthol.
