($28) Dense ruby. Ripe dark berry, espresso and tobacco aromas; richer and more powerful than the Leston. Inky, somewhat clenched flavors of cassis and bitter chocolate need some time to flesh out. Finishes with a dense, roasted, meaty quality and big, solid tannins. Give this some time.
