($25) Medium fresh red. Aromas of black cherry, dark raspberry, menthol and flowers. A ripe, dry midweight with flavors of cherry, raspberry, dark chocolate and herbs, lifted by cinnamon spice. Not especially fleshy or complex, but nicely delineated and perfumed. The fresh cherry flavor carries through to the firmly tannic, slightly oaky finish. Tastes like pinot made by a sauvignon blanc specialist. A very food-friendly style. This was racked only for the assemblage
