($19) Medium ruby. Very ripe, high-toned aromas of black cherry, violet pastille, smoked meat and exotic flowers. Sweet and juicy, with intense, fruit-driven flavors shaped by firm, slightly elevated acidity. A bit tart on the back end, with the wine's slightly dry tannins not yet integrated with the acids.
