Let me qualify the rating.

This is a great bottle of cognac, but I don't think it is that much better than the $75 version of the same brand (it got a well deserved five star rating). In fact during the cognac wars conducted in my living room I picked the Fillioux Tres Vieux over the Fillioux Reserve Familiale. However it still matches very well against the XO's in the $100+ realm. I just think that the Fillioux Tres Vieux is a better value. For the curious the Pierre Ferrand (62) won out overall, beating Hennesy XO and the other two.
