92 Points | Stephen Tanzer's IWC - September/October 2005

($80; for 375 ml.) Medium brown. Smoky cherry, caramel and tangy, almost salty Madeira-like notes on the nose. Intensely salty flavor of toffeed apple, with a sweet, cooked cherry quality as well. Long and firm, with a candied pecan note carrying through the finish.
