($50) Medium red with an amber edge. Pleasant nose offers ripe red cherry, fig and mocha aromas. Soft and sweet on entry, with a pliant texture and flavors of overripe red cherry and smoky plum. This well-made, ready-to-drink Barolo won't make old bones but is enjoyable right now.
