($30; from Basilicata) Deep ruby. Loaded with fruit on the nose: ripe smoky plum, bing cherry, raspberry and blackberry jam, with hints of graphite and nutmeg. A suave, silky, fruit-driven wine that's hard to resist now, but its serious tannins should give it very good aging potential.
