Very pleased with this secret from Spain!

First of all, I'm very biased here. I absolutely love Albarino wine and on a hunch I tried this Burgans label and was knocked out. This is a quality Albarino in that it has a pleasant bouquet and has a well balanced citrus/apple/slightly tart flavor with an acidic but wonderful finish. I can't wait to buy more of this. This was a BIG hit at a recent dinner party we went to where grilled seafood was served with garlic sauce.
Delightful, fruity bargain

Nothing fancy, but an excellent table wine. Served it with sushi and it worked well. Could become our favorite all-purpose white.

This is a signature Albarino from the fabled Burgans Winery. It is a tad austere as Spanish Whites go. Taut, a tad "brooding," this is a great wine for creamed or rice based Spanish fare. There is a blunt fundamentality that takes getting used to. But over time, it flowers into a world class wine as witness Robert Parker's elevated rating. Serve slightly chilled with hard cheeses, fruit and lighter fare. It is also perfect as a party sipper on warm Summer nights.
