very drinkable with anything
One of the best under $10

This is one of the easiest drinking red wines under $10 around. From Cline Vineyards it has the perfect balance of dark berries, light licorice and easy tannins. Perfect for everyday drinking and blends well with all foods--everything from steak to fish to chocolate.
very good

Red Truk Merlot is also great. Disappointed Total Wine does not stock this, have to buy elsewhere.

Excellent everyday value wine

I love the body and flavor for the price.
This may be my new favorite red..

I love a good value in wine, and this may just be the best. With a $6 price tag at Wally World, this stuff just can't be beat. Tastes like a $15 red.

May be the best bottle of wine I have ever had under $8 (no hype - I promise !). Easy to drink red blend - surprisingly elegant for the money
Marginal Red Wine

This generic Rhone style blend is well below Cline's usually high standards. Blunt, crude, tart, it may be better with rare meats, hearty stews, and ripe cheeses. Not complex or refined enough to serve as an apertif.

A bit too strong for the pork, but a great value at $7.49.
Reliable and Friendly

This is a great 'everyday' wine. Can't beat it for the price... and you can buy lot's of wines for twice the price that won't be as good. Give it a try...
Good for every day indulgence!

About California

It is remarkable that an industry essentially less than a half-century old could capture the attention of the American wine-buying public to the degree that California has. Powerful consumer interest in California wine is driven by two major factors. The more obvious reason is that California's best wines, which come from grapes grown in...
