Tasted it at the wine tasting on 5/3/08. It was a definite winner! Smooth, balanced red with very little tannin. Both my husband and I liked it, and we have two very different tastes.

This is a phenomenal gem. Bright, vibrant fruit in front with a depth and complexity not often found under $20. Raspberry and strawberry flavors dominate the silky texture with a balancing acidity that makes this wine great alone or with a wide variety of foods ranging from brie to sirloin.

This 2004 was amazing. It was well balanced, medium bodied and very easy to drink. Tannins were soft and there was pleasant fruit on the nose and palate, particularly raspberries, and a touch of spice. I'd definitely purchase again. I'm surprised the 2005 hasn't been released yet (as of Oct 08). This is a very smooth wine with notes of cola and chocolate.
