($33) Bright, medium red-ruby. Perfumed red fruits on the nose. At once supple and tight, with sappy, vinous red fruit flavors enlivened by mint and spice. This rather imploded wine has a tightly coiled spring, and noteworthy minerality, but there's nothing hard about it now, and the tannins are rather suave. This reminded me of a Dominode. The wine's firm, minerally finish suggests it will unfold slowly in bottle.
