2004 Chateau La Mondotte Saint Emilion

Saturated red-ruby. Knockout nose offers blueberry, mocha, chocolate, toffee, minerals, smoked meat and charred oak . Wonderfully suave and juicy wine, with a sappy vinosity to the spicy fruit flavors that's currently hiding the wine's superb density. Finishes with very suave tannins and lush, spicy fruit. A great combination of density and verve, even in the context of this very fresh vintage.
