About Chateau Lafaurie Peyraguey
Values are tough to find in Sauternes, but this is certainly one of them, especially in the good vintages. The south facing slopes here provide the vines with ample sunlight and excellent drainage, producing a wonderfully rich, honeyed, tropical-fruity Sauternes with lovely balance and precision of flavor.

Palish yellow. Discreet, pure aromas of nectarine, pineapple and honeycomb. In a juicy, fruity style, with the pineapple flavor and brisk acidity giving the wine good verve but a slightly spiky quality in the early going. The finish is a bit youthfully aggressive.
