($50) Deep red-ruby.Somewhat funky aromas of currant, game and leather. Rather wild and exotic on the palate, with notes of leather, earth and walnut skin.Shows a disjointed sweet/tart quality, and the leathery betrays a distinctly dry edge. Not a good showing.

This is my favorite wine. I just loved everything about it, the silky smooth taste and texture, the perfect balance when paired with food (especially red meat......filet mignon)! Just love it!

excellent aromas, nice finish, explosive taste only reached by high end napa cabs. can easily compare this to an opus one or even, yes even, a caymus special selection.
