Not a chardonnay drinker, but enjoy occasionally with fresh seafood, or as a pre evening taste; I split this case with my brother who is more 80/20 white/red drinker. He and I agreed this is the most balanced, and less acidic of all the Chards to date we've tried.Buttery on the palate, terrific finish, and unbelievable nose...5 stars. Wish I had 2 more cases.

Very tight and dry when first opened. The full fruit flavor came out after being opened for a half hour. Thought it was a good wine for the price.

Starts out "slow", tight and tart, when first opened and still too cool from the cellar. Give it an hour of air and time to warm to about 65-ish and the metamorphosis is unreal and exciting as it delivers a medium bodied, smooth textured, mouthful of mixed tropical and citrus fruit flavors that cover the palate. Perhaps just a tad short on the finish, it has a nice level of creaminess without being over-oaked. Very enjoyable, a great buy I wouldn't hesitate to repeat.

Oak forward. Fruit was somewhat subdued. Good acid balance. Enjoyed it with brie and crackers but it might be a bit too much with delicate food dishes.

good balnace between acid and oak, good fruit with touch of vanilla. thought the wine had trouble completely opening up however, almost teased you into expecting a more memorable finish

After one bottle with a somewhat questionable cork, disappointment! Will reserve final judgement after another bottle or two. Initial impression was that it represented all the things wrong with CA. chardonays from the 1990's with too much oak and not enough fruit, character or sophistication. An identity crisis which amplified everything both good and bad and wound up with no signature.
