($58; includes 18% merlot, 4% petit verdot and 2% cabernet franc) Deep red color. Blackcurrant and cherry cola aromas are complicated by musky tobacco and mocha; becomes more oak-spicy with aeration. Medium-weight dark fruit flavors are firmed by youthful tannins and gain weight on the back end. Pliant, juicy and youthfully primary, with good balance and no excess weight. (JR)
