By Connoisseurs' GuideConnoisseurs' Guide to California Wines, Apr 06 Rated: 90 Very slightly hazy in appearance, in the unfiltered style that some Chardonnay producers have adopted, this wine smells of youthfully energetic appley fruit with buttery and slightly oaky overlays. It is quite full in body and quite high in ripe fruit flavors with more than enough richness and range to offset a last-minute flare of heat in the finish. Try it with one of the fleshy white fishes like Sea Bass or Red Snapper served in a nut-butter sauce.

By Stephen TanzerStephen Tanzer's International Wine Cellar, May/Jun 06 Rated: 91 Pale yellow color. Aromas of orange and tequila; reminded me of an Alsace wine. Sweet, round and oily, with enticing high tones to the soft citrus fruit flavors. Dry but rich on the back.
