($95) Bright medium ruby. Superripe but fresh aromas of black cherry, black raspberry, cappuccino, sassafras and bitter chocolate. Sweet, concentrated, creamy berry flavors are nicely framed by sound acidity and complicated by spice notes of cardamom and nutmeg. Very sexy oak here. The juicy, very long finish features dusty, fine tannins.
