($50; 15.4%) Bright ruby. Aromas of crushed blueberry and blackberry, licorice and sweet oak. Dense but not heavy, with strong flavors of dark fruits. A real black hole of a wine; if the Keltie is atypical, this is very California Needs more time in the barrel.

First bottle in April of '05. Still a bit young, needs a bit more time. Great color and bouquet. Well balanced with good fruit.
