Ruby-red. Strong blackberry and cassis aromas are complicated by suggestions of graphite, iron and floral oils; this smells like Cote-Rotie. Focused and impressively energetic, with bright red and dark berry flavors, firm tannins and a long, mineral-driven finish. According to Barruol, this is from petite serine.
