($70) Dense purple. Explosive aromas of strawberry and black cherry liqueur, candied plum, fresh rose, Indian spices and licorice. Lush, concentrated and ridiculously deep in sweet, liqueur-like red and dark berry flavors. The palate-saturating fruit shows remarkable depth as well as striking clarity. Bright acidity perks up the sweet finish, which seems to build forever. Lovely wine, with an almost surreal display of fruit.
