91 Points | Stephen Tanzer's IWC - July/August 2006

($22) Dark red. Assertive aromas of cherry preserves, redcurrant, red licorice and fresh tobacco. Offers firm, fresh red fruit flavors, with bright acids providing lift and focus. With air this became more pliant and a bit softer, offering riper notes of cassis and mocha. An elegant, gently structured cabernet with a striking balance of ripe and fresh fruit tones. The tannins are smooth and meld nicely with the suave fruit.
