($8; a blend of monastrell and syrah) Good dark ruby-red. Tangy aromas of dark fruits, spicecake and chocolate. Ripe, sweet and lush, with fat, somewhat funky flavors of black raspberry and leather. Finishes reasonably fresh, with very light tannins.

such a great wine (i paired it with eggplant rolantini and bread) for so little money. light and heightened the taste of the food, yet hearty. would defintily recommend, and have all my friends buying this one up too

This is a BIG wine. Great with BBQ or Italian...though it had me craving some salty olives and creamy cheese. Such a bargain, you'd never know you were paying so little per bottle!
