90 Points | International Wine Cellar , July/August 2005

Slightly lighter in color than La Firma. Somewhat harsher aromatics with less rich ripe fruit but also no new oak showing. Offers a smoky complexity while exhibiting suave flavors of milk chocolate and dried redcurrant and an intriguing minerality. This will benefit significantly from being opened a few hours in advance. A nicely balanced midweight whose strong tannins will grow smoother over time.
