Good medium red. Pure aromas of red berries and smoked meat. Larger-scaled and more glyceral than the Gruenchers if not quite as detailed; round, supple and sweet, with the sappy quality of the year. Very fresh wine, finishing with a fine dusting of tannins and a bit of spicy oak.
