2004 Domaine Dureuil Janthial Bourgogne Aligote

Vincent Dureuil-Janthial founded this domain in 1994, although he was no newcomer to the region. His family first settled in Rully, at the southern tip of the Côte de Beaune, in the fourteenth century. Vincent makes concentrated, deeply fruity wines, the whites strong in mineral character and less rustic than most Chardonnays from the area, and the reds sweet and supple, with both early appeal and ageability.
