87 Points | International Wine Cellar , July/August 2005

($45; a blend of 70% muscat and 30% malvasia) This late-harvest wine (once picked, the grapes are air-dried for an additional 20 days) is one of southern Italy's better sweet wines. Crystal-clear golden yellow color. Beautiful nose of acacia honey, candied lemon peel, grapefruit and mango. Shows a remarkably sweet and unctuous mouth feel yet manages to avoid being cloying thanks to just enough acidity to leave the palate fresh.
