87 Points | Stephen Tanzer's IWC - July/August 2005

($50) Brooding reddish-black color. Nose dominated by herbaceous, chocolate and coffee aromas. Flavors similar to the aromas; fairly intense in the mouth but a bit clunky, with slightly dry tannins. Very well-made cabernet-merlot blend but not particularly elegant or complex.
