($50) Dark ripe fruits and light herbal notes on the nose; the warm oakiness is not as intrusive as in the Rosso del Conte. Lush in the mouth, with pleasant suggestions of somewhat overripe fruit. This is another cult wine: the 1992 and 1990 vintages in particular are always sought after by Italian wine enthusiasts.
