Cakebread Cellars was founded in 1972 on 22 acres of land in Rutherford, California. Thirty-nine years later, Cakebread owns 982 acres throughout the Napa Valley and North Coast. Among the highlights of Cakebread's portfolio are its distinctive Chardonnays. This is one of my favorite Cab's and almost as good as Cakebreads Vine Hill Ranch, or Benchland Select Cabs that are harder to find and more expensive.
A full bodied wine that delivers the distinct Cakebread taste from start to a beautiful finish.
In my opinion there are many good Cabernet's on the market, but Cakebread stands out from the rest
